Handsome Akita mix King is finally available for adoption!! He survived being on the kill list at a high kill shelter, got over a nasty case of 'dog flu' and is now on the mend and available for adoption!! He is so gentle and polite!! So glad we saved him!! Sam was saved literally as the curtain was coming down for him. He wasn't doing well at the shelter so they put him in isolation and he was scheduled for euthanasia. The rescue community was up in arms about his bleak future. We couldn't let this angel die and the second he was out, he gave kisses and was so grateful! He has been neglected and abused and has three large burn scars on his side. He needs a trusting home so badly with plenty of exercise and love and must never be put in a cage again!!
